Plaça de Lesseps

Plaça de Lesseps is a curiosity of a plaza. It stands as the border between the Gràcia neighborhood and the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi neighborhood. The plaza is named after Ferdinand de Lesseps, the developer of the Suez Canal. As modern and curious as it looks, Lesseps has been around since 1895. It boasts playgrounds, playful, and spherical, stone monuments and is quite spacious. As it stands close to a major intersection and has an L3 Metro stop, it gets a lot of foot traffic, but there’s plenty of free seating to sit and enjoy the view.
