Plaça del Sol is located in the Gràcia neighborhood of Barcelona. It is not the most beautiful plaza in Barcelona, nor even in Gràcia, but it a wonderful location. Spacious and expansive, even with the new playscape erected in 2018. It is surrounded by cafes offering mostly the same food. Which is fine. It’s a place where one can easily eat up a day people-watching. And who needs more than wine, olives, pimientos padrones and anchovies anyway?
