Revolutionary Barcelona is a feature-length cut-out from the 10-episode Catalunya Barcelona: The Catalan Story of Barcelona. It examines the revolutionary thought and action that made Barcelona the city it is today.
With Revolutionary Barcelona, the spotlight is on the city’s radical roots–the anarchist, communist and socialist organizations that grew and thrived during the 19th and 20th century.
In addition to footage from the original series, Revolutionary Barcelona includes never-before-seen interviews and photos captured during series production.
Wooden Shoe Books, the venerable anarchist bookstore on South Street in Philadelphia, has generously offered to host the first public screening of the film.
